Get Messy Thursday

Hola all, so here we are once again for Get Messy Thursdays!!! The prompts this week I have actually completed all of the challenges and tried to keep to what was instructed rather than going off on a tangent and doing what I like.

Challenge 1- the most adventurous thing I have ever done, this was a tie between living in Hong Kong for 8 months and moving to London. I decided on London as in Hong Kong I had family and there was no rush to get a job, whereas London I completely started again.

Challenge 2- Something you would never do, online dating...there's not much to say on this- it's just not my thing!

Challenge 3- My page with bits and pieces from a magazine and nice quote about fashion, "Fashion can be bought, style one must possess.'

Challenge 4- Bits and pieces from the bottom of my scrap bin, as you can see it's not finished and it's purely lots of junk glued to a page. I'm going to leave it like this and see what happens when inspiration hits!

And that's it from me this week folks until next week for some more art journaling. Also I know I spoke abit about a fashion through the ages project I was doing, I still need to post what I have done so far- I have just run out of the paper I use for it, will be getting more soon.

Lots of love,

  1. Aah online dating, fortunately something I haven't had to do but I have heard some success/happy ending stories. Love your fashion quote over all that collage too :) I have an envelope of stuff to glue onto a page, bring on the weekend! Emily :)

    1. Thanks Emily, I'm sure there are some great love stories and it's a shame that it's overshadowed by bad experiences! I can't wait to see what you come up with from your envelope of goodies! x

    1. Thanks Gilly, I have been in London for about a year and a half, there is so much to do! Do you live just outside of London? sometimes it is nice to escape the hustle and bustle...I'm in West London x

  3. I love all your London memorabilia and the mention of tea! The questions that you've captured too that were going through your mind when you were there. Also your pages created from bits/scraps are really cool. Meanwhile, I would never do online dating either...x
