So here we are again and this season has me super inspired, I keep just churning out the pages. I'm glad I picked the theme of heartbreak as a basis for a good song is based on just that!

King- Years & Years I love this song, it's so upbeat it's only when you read the lyrics you see that there's a darker side to it.

Your Mangled Heart- The Gossip

I am recently revisiting my love for The Gossip, I don't know how I could have ever forgot about such an amazing band!

The Sound- The 1975

What's an entry from me without putting a The 1975 song in the mix. I love the tongue twister lyrics in this song.

Unfinished Symphony- Massive Attack

This is my response to Karen's tall order of making a page in response the Massive Attack's epic song. I went with a space type theme.

Again another band I'm revisiting due to also revisiting the 90's classic 'My So Called Life' *Sigh* Jordan Catalano!

After I started last week off on such a strong message, I got a bit stuck with where to go next- so many ideas but how to put them on paper! I eventually brain stormed all the songs I am planning on using which gave me a good grounding on what to start on. Halsey-Ghost I urge you to go listen to Halsey's album it's amazing!

And suddenly all the songs were about you- The Heartbreak Journal

We're on to the season of music and I plan on being more involved with this season, I have already been so inspired. My theme for this season is heartbreak, my art journal isn't about being depressing or morbid. This journal for me is about letting go of someone that I should have done a long time ago- to be honest I have held on to them a lot longer than healthy and now it's time to move on.

As you have probably guessed this journal is going to be incredibly personal to me and I hope that by others seeing it and are in the same position have the strength to leave that person behind. I am not used to the journalling side of art journalling so this will be a new experience which is a bit scary, but the hope is that by the end of the season I close up this book with all the feelings and get on with my life.

I decided against making a book for the season, I'm not very good at it! So decided I wanted to try a landscape book.

Introspection- Week 1

It's a new season and it's time to get creative in an altered book. I loved doing this last time and was so inspired each time I opened my book. I originally was going to do this season in a new book, a A-Z of 1930's medical ailments. When trying to get started I didn't feel this season was right for this book- so you've guessed it I headed right back to my spooky book of death!

Only time to do a couple this week.

I also want to apologise for not checking out anyone else's blog this season- I am studying for a big exam and having trouble fitting everything in. Lists- Week 5

I am still struggling with this season and I still don't know what it is about this season that I am finding so hard.  Nevertheless, I did some of this weeks prompts and also somewhat I had missed out on previous weeks. Next week I'll try for another clear up and get all the lists done!

Lists - Week 3

I'll keep this short and sweet, because yet again I am rushing to post on a Sunday night! I am still struggling with this season- but it's getting better, I think maybe I was taking the lists thing very literal and although there is still lists below, I haven't tried to force myself to answer something if I don't actually have an answer.

Lists- Week 2

So I don't know about anyone else but I'm finding this season really difficult, I don't know whether it's because I have a lot of other stuff on at the moment or the season just doesn't speak to me! So here is my take for this week.

Loves of my life- They know who they are.

2. My take on how I have changed in 10 years was to look at qualities I had now compared to them 10 years ago.

3. I started to think about some grown up things, but then I realised I never want to be a grown up!

4. Superpowers I would like to have, as you can see if I was a super hero I see myself as a bit more of a rockstar type vigilante that can time travel, save animals and do maths!

Fingers crossed next week is easier!
