If you follow my Instagram you will know that I have embarked on a year long project where I document song lyrics. So far so good, I have managed to keep up and use a variety of different genres and handwriting.

Color Chaos- The Lilac edition

Welcome to Color Chaos.....7 colors, 7 journals and 7 creative ladies to fill them. Color chaos was dreamt up a little before christmas where it was decided to do travelling journals but with an edge, each person picks a colour and that is what that is the theme the journal would be based around. So every month I will do a Color Chaos post about whatever colour journal I have received and what I have contributed. I'm not going to give away anyone else's colour right now, but as you will see before I decided on lilac...or any shade of purple really. I decided that everyone else that got my journal could do as little or as much as they wanted to it, no pressure whatever anyone has time to do. There is also some very sparse pages with random purple bits attached for anyone to do what they wish to! My journal has a bit of everything in, there is no theme apart from the colour, anything I was feeling I added. I can't wait to see what happens to my journal over the next couple of months.

Zine Squad- GIRL POWER!!!!!!

Yes! I was part of another super zine project! This time the zine was for Torrie, with the theme 'Female Boss' which Torrie is definitely being starting her own art empire! I was in my element on this one! Myself and Lucia were recruited by the Zine hit squad, Julia, Katie and Vanessa.  This Zine was so much fun to do and I was super excited to be asked- almost a bit too giddy when I offered to have a go at actually making the zine!  Here are my pages:

The left is mine, only some strawberry stickers which work well with the opposite pages cupcake!

Mines on the right, obviously me and Julia can't beat a bit of rhyming.

I channeled my inner riot girl for this page and then completely smudged and thought it was ruined. So I smudged it even more to try and make it look like it was meant to be like that....

On the left my angry riot girl quote, deciding to take back all the cruel things women are called.

On the left, I got my typewriter out and I'm glad Lucia did as well.

When witches don't fight we burn

As the new season hasn't started yet here's some more spooky book that I have been working on in the background. On Friday I will be posting a bit about one of the super secret zines I was part of.
Again some pages need a bit more work, so as when I update them you will get a peek.

By the pricking of my thumbs something wicked this way comes

 Last post for magic...honestly!

Some are pages you may have seen before, but with some new pieces added, I filled up my book with a ton of different backgrounds, so I will post when I finish them up.

Below is the results of letting food colouring run down a page- the quote is from The Hobbit. Over Christmas I managed to watch all of the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit- which is inspiring me to read it again. After revisiting the films, I felt I had to put a quote in here from Gollum.

In this one I just added a cool picture that I found in a magazine.

Lastly, I wanted to keep this one simple, normally I am pretty quote heavy on my work, so this time I wanted the image to speak more than the words.
