Creepy Valley- My Zine!

Yes! I got zined and it's so beautiful! It's all creepy, dark and twisted and when I received it, it got me in the feelings. Ever since I got involved with helping to make zines for Torrie and Julia, I really wanted one as they're so amazing. The theme used for me was all things creepy....naturally! So obviously to take pictures of this creepily fantastic zine, I went to the graveyard because I'm weird like that.                                                                                         

My zine was made by the usual Zine masters, Katie, Vanessa and Julia, they also got Essie on board. All their artwork together is so great and compliments each other perfectly- Can you tell that I completely love it and I quote my text to Julia "I love it so much, I want to marry it."

 

I almost forgot about this little surprise!

I think you'll agree this zine is creeptastic and I just love all the quotes that were used.

Reasons to be happy...

EEek tailing behind a little bit! 

Here it is, my answer to the happy prompts this week. I am finding this season tough than I thought it would be! I must just be drawn more naturally to the darkness!

This was meant to say, 'Inside my head' but I wrote brain for some reason! Same/diff!

Leave a little sparkle wherever you go

It's finally here the new Get Messy has opened! This season it's Happy! which as I think you will agree is quite a step away from my creepy pages. As it's worked well for my to have a theme within a theme- for happy I'm opting to for Acid Trip.....I'm looking at neon and vivid colours and surreal themes. So although the colour scheme is going to be different from my altered book the surreal feel will remain.
Be prepared for lots of glitter and more crazy filters....you know I love a filter.
This is my new journal, the book is lined which did make me wonder whether I should use it, but then decided the last couple of months I have been working in actual book, what's a couple of lines going to do. I also covered it in stickers because well....they make me happy.

I just got some AMAZING neon chalk pens, which I'm having some fun with. Because you know I needed some marker pens I didn't quite have enough!!

Lauren's Lyrics -January Round up

If you follow my Instagram you will know that I have embarked on a year long project where I document song lyrics. So far so good, I have managed to keep up and use a variety of different genres and handwriting.
